ABOUT SCREAM SCHOOL

In the early 2000s, there was a studio that did post-production for movies called Eye-Scream. It lacked specialists, and it was decided to open a school to attract and train interesting guys for the tasks of the studio. The school was called Eye-Scream School. As time went on, the name was shortened, and the school only grew stronger.

Today Scream School is the only full-time industrial school in Russia specialising in game development. The main directions: game design, game graphics, concept art, programming. We offer the freedom of imagination, knowledge and tools for putting any idea into a game. Our community formed by years of development in the industry includes prominent representatives of game development in Russia and the world. As a result, the ideal conditions for a start in the video game industry have been formed here. Within 3 months 95% of our graduates find jobs in Russian game development studios, go abroad or join international projects remotely, create their own studios.

Student-centric
At Scream School, the student is at the centre of learning. Educational programs are adapted to the group's needs and industry trends. Students give feedback to teachers and curators and fully participate in the educational process.

Creative
Scream School is part of the University of Creative Industries Universal University along with the British Higher School of Art and Design, the Moscow Film School and others. Our students are not just pumping hard skills; with the help of new knowledge and the university community, you will create real work projects that shape the creative space not only in our country, but throughout the world.

Industry oriented
We have employees from top video game development companies. From the first days of study, Scream School students become part of a professional community, work with real briefs, and by the end of their studies, they get teamwork experience and a decent portfolio to start in the industry career.

Innovative
Scream School is an authorised training centre for Adobe, Unity, Unreal Engine, SideFX, The Foundry, Autodesk. We teach on the most modern technologies and constantly update the software. We adhere to a blended learning format, when students can listen to part of the lectures remotely, while most of the work takes place on campus in technically equipped classrooms - this is necessary for effective project and teamwork.
